about
Dorjee composed this music almost 20 years ago to words written by Ven. Ngawang Woebar, a Tibetan scholar and part of the first ever Tibetan protest in Lhasa carrying the Tibetan flag (September, 1987). It is a prayer to the goddess of music, Lhamo Yangchengma, the same goddess know to the Hindus as Saraswati. I prostrate myself to your beauty and your talent. in the hope that, by my humble prayer, I will become a better musician.
